We are in our new house

Sorry i've been out of contact for the last few weeks. We have been in a rented house just a couple of meters away from the beach. We could go to the beach nearly every day when it was sunny. We could cycle to the mall along the beach, it was nice to do that when we went shopping instead of having to sit in the car. The house we've bought and are now living in is in a small village called Tuahiwi which is near to 3 towns, Woodend, Rangiora and Kaiapoi. The garden is 2 acres in all and the next door neighbour has horses so we can go to the end and look at them and feed them. It has got 2 garages and a studio for mummy's art stuff. We have new bikes which we can cycle around the garden instead of the road.We have just unpacked the last box after three days of living here.My room is huge and has two windows.Living in Tuahiwi is nice because the nearest beach, woodend beach is really nice. More info l8r Ashok out* * *beep;-)

Onwards to paradise

We arrived in Honalulu,Oahu,Hawaii on the 13th of November 2007.We stayed in a very posh hotel called the Sheraton princess Kaluini. It had a band,a swimming pool, and it's hot enough to have palm trees! On the first day we went to our nearest beach,Waikiki beach. It was only across the road!We changed into our swimmies and got in the sea-it was so warm ,nobody wanted to come out! I thought that N.Z wouldnt be as hot, it still has palms though,(as well as a shopping mall)We meet the aussies next on a fly buy.

Disneyland here we come

we were escorted to the airport by my grandparents and uncle. The flight was 11 hours the longest I've had so far. I wasn't used to having such a long flight and I didn't get any sleep. It was OK at least we had personal TVs. I watched "Harry Potter and TOOTP" and a bit of Arthur Conan Doyle's "The lost World". I got bored of watching movies and tried to look out of the window, but I didn't get a window seat because we're a family of four and all I could see was peoples heads. Then I tried to get some of the magical thing and it cools you down alot and that's get some sleep. It didn't work. When we got there it was strange becuase either they were still building the air port or everthing was convered in tin foil for a reason. It was also strange becuase we had to have our fingerprints taken which you don't normally have to do. Then we went to the hotel in a taxi and the driver sounded like a very nice guy and I got some sleep on the taxi at last.

last day at school

emotional goodbye in the playground. most of them cried. The song was good. Tommy followed me all the way to car, poor chap I dunno what he's gonna do without me.Arthur was sad since he had known me for several years. It was all too much for me, I didn't really feel anything at all. Leaving the playground was hard.. I was going home with George he cried in the car even though he'd got an extra hour with me. how lucky. We play monopoly and George won. After that it was goodbye time. Big day tomorrow.

we're going to new zealand!

After school on thursday my mum got a phonecall. It said that the buyers had aggreed to buy our house and our confirmed date is the 8th of November. So i really need to get my memory book filled in! We don't know what our address will be yet so don't ask! We havn't started packing yet, but I'm sure will in a matter of days. So the house will be virtually empty when we hand it over to the Scarfes (the buyers) We are so excited and looking forward to a new life in New Zealand. No turning back now!
